Having previously engaged him to work on their harbour-side home in Sydney, this couple chose Christian to consult on the transformation of their simple weekend retreat into a relaxed resort-style residence capable of accommodating a large family (including assorted dogs) and their magnificent collection of contemporary art and furniture.

Christian drew inspiration from the textures and colours of the surrounding bush and nearby ocean, incorporating natural timbers, local stone and hand-forged iron to create a relaxed and chic interior.
